Treo 650 makes a fine torch

[From James Soper ] Today I had to get up *really* early to travel to a job. I used the World Clock application as a very reliable alarm clock and because I didn't want to wake my partner by putting on the light it used the light from the screen as a torch. It shines more than enough light to navigate around a darkened room and avoid the usual books, half drunk cups of coffee and random shoes etc that litter my side of the bed.

Every time I convince myself that I just have to go and buy an iPod touch to replace my aging 650 I keep finding new things it can do.
