My PDA is my 2nd brain

[From dlindsey22] I have had my PDA for two years now, a Palm Lifedrive. I could never get it to hotsync, so I have been pioneering into completely disconnecting it from my PC. I have installed backup programs, and recently was scared half to death when a bright light came on in my room at 1:00 at night! It was the first time that I had set an automatic backup, and it woke me up!
I also have been looking for little known programs such as Chtong. I have watched closely and with enthusiasm the growth and improvement of many open source programs and even attempted making one myself (I couldn't get the hang of PDA toolbox.) I was very sad at the shutdown of PalmGear, It was a great home to many freeware and open source projects.
Seeing I am not able to hotsync, I am very afraid of the Hard Reset, and have only used 5 or 6 MB of my 4 GB hard drive! So to make up I have 6 SD cards. I love the Documents to go program, and commonly make useless spreadsheets of financial data just for the fun of it.
I love the palm forum of Palminfocenter, where I post every once in a while. There are several very devoted members, and they always have the very latest palm news. The Palm Addicts website is always full of great information on the latest product or bit of news and always from a real palm user who knows about PDA's. I live in the nice river town of Prairie du Sac, WI. where there is a wonderful Library with free Wireless Internet. My PDA Is in my hand every day, and charged every night.
