I hope this message finds you well.
I would like to say I am a total PALM addict. I have had a palm product since the palm3 and it is my life - I use it every day. My husband tried to get me to try other products and work had given me a blackberry but I could not be converted - I love my palms and have it in either the stand alone form or with a smartphone for years.
I recently became disabled and so now I use it to manage all my appointments - mostly doctor. I especially love the color coding in the calendar now as it helps when you look at the weekly or monthly views. I use it for all my numbers - I never have to struggle with remembering names or numbers - they are all with me. The first thing I do when I get a card is enter all the data in and hot sync as soon as I can. It is my personal entertainment center. I use it to listen to music when I am having acupuncture. With needles in my ears, I cannot use headphones so having the built in speaker is great! I used to have to wrestle my hubby for he wanted to play the games - but I finally got him his own TX.
I have put all my medications in a list as well as how I take them, scheduled reminders, all my appointments with alarms. I also figure that the list of medications, as well as my medic alert, may help if someone finds me unconscious as I made sure they are at the top of the memos. I also chart when I stop and start medications. With the search function, the palm is an invaluable tool for my health!
