Two Devices Better Than One?

I admit, I blew it.  I left my cell phone sitting on my office desk Friday when I left for home.  Now it was Saturday afternoon and I needed to call a friend who was supposed to be dropping by the house today, but her number was in my cell phone.  While I had our house phone, and my wife had her cell phone, no one had the number.  Then I remembered that I had transferred a copy of my cell phone's phone book (via bluetooth) to my Palm T|X a couple of months ago.  Sure enough, my friend's home number and cell number were right there in my contacts app.  I was able to call even though I didn't have my cell phone.  I was very happy that I didn't have a converged device... if my palm had also been at work, I would have been driving up to the office to get the number!
