Mobile devices have specifically aided me in the search for pharmacological information -- what drugs interact with what drugs, and what are their potential uses and side effects. Various applications provide me with this information, but my application of choice is Epocrates software (mainly because it is free). Fortunately, the software is now available on Blackberry devices. So now I can have everything I need at all times, right there in my pocket.
