Pogo Stylus for the iPhone

Img_iphoneI posted on this a fews days back when I got the press release, and now Ten One Design has sent me one and I can report on it "in person". One of the problems with the iPhone, to me, is typing. My fingers are simply too big to type with my thumbs and even hunt and peck is a bit of a problem. That's one reason I haven't done more posts directly from the iPhone - typing just takes too long. Well, the new Pogo Stylus is going to be a big help there. As you can see, the stylus is a thin tube with what looks like a piece of sponge attached to one end. According to their website the actual material is a trade secret. Whatever it is, it works like a charm. I have done a lot of typing since receiving the stylus and it has opened up a new world on the iPhone. I'm now using it for notes and lists, which was too much trouble before the stylus, and it makes typing in web addresses much easier. I would always make at least one mistake when trying to type in an address in Safari. Not with the stylus! As you can see in the picture the stylus come with a low-profile clip that fits onto the phone. Depending on the case you use, if any, this may not be the best solution for you. With the clip my iPhone just fits into my Nutshell pouch and will fit with my Proporta Alu-Leather case, but won't work with any of my other cases. As I think about it, I probably would prefer a clip like that on a pen so I could clip it in my shirt pocket. Nevertheless, I strongly recommend this little accessory to anyone who owns an iPhone It comes in Gun Metal, Black and Silver, costs $24.95 and can be found here.
