How I use my Treo 755p

[From Carl W. Brooks from PalmLoyal] My Palm Treo 755p is my multi-purpose device. Can't start the day with my "Butler" to wake me up and then remind me to get out the door to catch my bus on time. On the 45 minute bus ride to Downtown Detroit, I listen to podcasts or read Resco Neews articles. I listen to my favorite radio talk show (the Chicago version because the Detroit broadcast is not available).

I use it for work with Exchange 2003 via Versamail; I open Microsoft documents and PDF with DocsToGo. I use SMS to keep in communications with my co-managers. I keep all the job related IDs and passwords safe in SplashID. Non-businesses; I use Chatteremail for my personal email; my wife and I use SMS to allow uninterupted two-way communications that can happen even if I am in a meeting. Resco Backup allows me to keep on the go without worry of losing any data. Resco News keeps me informed via various news sources and podcasts. Kinoma allows me to listen radio stations without being tied to a vehicle or a certain room and it allows me to see the silly Youtube videos that someone is bound to send me in in any given week. NFL Mobile and http://wap.nfl.com allows me to stay on top my fantasy football leagues. What would any day be like if I couldn't surf the web and learn something new? My personal account numbers and passwords are stored in SplashID too.

When I have spare time, I enjoy a great game from the many console favorites like Donkey Kong, DKJr, Contra, Sonic the Hedgehog all via Little John Palm. I enjoy many Astaware titles including Cake Mania and Boardgames. The family will play a round of Farkle. When I really have time and a full battery, I enjoy Warfare Incorporated. A quick game of Hearts avoids boredom and "Summing" is used to challenge the mind.
