SAMMY'S THOUGHT'S: I'm pleased about two things this morning Gmail IMAP is going to become a reality on my Treo and the design of the Treo 800w could well be a fake

Well I still don't have IMAP showing on my Gmail yet and when I do I guess that I am going to have to make the jump to Snappermail and Versamail is not accommodating it at the moment but Snappermail is still a very good email program and in the past I have shifted between using Versamail and Snappermail. I am so pleased about Gmail, I love it because it looks after my work email and does a pretty damn good job at it too, and now that IMAP is supported it means that I can go to a native email application and make it work. So I am pretty happy about it at the moment.

I was also pretty happy to read that the Treo 800w design may well just be a fake according to myTreo. As you may have read yesterday I wasn't too impressed at the design although I am happy that the rumour is that they will include wifi built in which is great. It is about time and although I do not base my purchase decisions on the whether wifi is included [I did at one stage] I do think it is about time Palm gae users the option but understand that battery life can be an issue but I think other devices balance power and battery life very well.
