iPhone Update

Busy day today! You've probably all read about the new iPhone update, so I'm not going to repeat it all here. I am seriously afraid that the new WiFi iTunes store will end up costing me a lot of money. Apple even has a video about the update and you can see the video here.

There are a couple of things that I am very happy about. First, the speakerphone and earpiece volume are supposed to be louder. This was sorely needed. Second, the volume of the alert tones now matches the volume of your ringer tones. This, again, was much needed. I was constantly missing alerts.

The other neat feature is that double clicking the home icon will now take you to your Favorites, and save you a lot of clicks.

The update went just fine for me. I had the AppTapp application installer on my phone and it disappeared after the update. No real problem there. According to my RSS feeds, if you've unlocked your iPhone then you may be in big trouble if you install this update.
