Call Block from Wish Solutions is a very nice little app. We tested it on two treo's, a my 700p and a 650. Call Block comes with a MP3 Ringtone manager that right off the block was a problem for me as it doesn't work with other ringtone apps. I use mRing and I've used it for a long time. I have it set to do a lot of different task on my treo. It took awhile to setup just right, so the ideal of just giving that up wasn't too pleasant. But what the hey, I'll give it a try.
There is a company that calls me from time to time trying to get me to see previews (if you ever go to a sneak preview, when they give you the sheet to fill out, don't put your number down). Anyway, this was the perfect number to try it out on. Low and behold, I got the call and Call Block didn't block it. I shot the developer a email and he responded quickly with a few tips. Okay, right there "Good customer service". Now i'm happy. I followd his instructions and I can tell you that Call Block works. I've tested it out with a few more numbers and it has so far blocked them all. I would like to see this app get to the point that when a call comes in that you don't want, you can just quickly choose the last number and click add to Block List. But as I can see the developer works hard on his software, I am confident that it will get to that place.
The software works well on both the 700p and 650. Takes up very little space and is very stable. Call Block will also Block SMS messages that are unwanted, which has come in handy in the past week. A feature that We really liked was the notification. You can set it so that you are notified of a blocked call. This is good for when you are in a meeting and you enable Block all calls. When you leave the meeting you can see who called and decide if you want to call them back.
This is a nice app for the treo. There is a bit of a learning curve but once you get the knack of imputing the numbers you don't want to ring through, it becomes a no brainer.
