Depending on Hobbyist Software Applications

[From Rich Kendrick] I've come to thoroughly depend on a number of apps from Hobbyist Software. I've been a longtime user of Butler (I think it was the first app I registered when I got my Treo650). I find the feature set of Butler so comprehensive and useful that I genuinely can't imagine using my Treo without it installed.
Reset Doctor has made the Treo650's unfortunate tendency to reset randomly and lose my preferences into little more than an inconvenience.
Genius saves me the time consuming steps of opening Blazer and loading a search page before I can begin a search. It really puts information right at your fingertips. Before Genius, it would take me thirty seconds or a minute before I could *start* looking for information.
And I resisted the temptation to try Initiate for a long time because I was afraid I would like it. I finally caved, and, boy, was I right. Through the use of favorites and autolaunch, Rob is right when he claims this is the fastest launcher for a Treo. And having my contacts as handy as my apps is a huge step up over my previous launcher. And it looks great, too (check out that Retro skin; it's slick *grin*).
