Switch5 / Spell5 / MobileWrite / Got a favourite Palm program? Let us know

Now on the Treo 680 there is an excellent little feature where if you press and hold down the home key, a list of your recently used programs appears, it's a little gem but if your looking for a Palm program that does pretty much the same thing then I recommend Switch5 which is an awesome program and free. " Switch5 is a PalmOS 5 app which provides a simple way to switch between recently used applications. Think of it as a PalmOS 5 version of SwitchHack (I''m not in any way affiliated with SwitchHack... other than being a registered user)."

Now onto another great Palm program and one that I use personally and that's Spell5, goodness knows what would happen if I did not have this program ;-). "Freeware. Spell5 is a clipboard editor and an American English spell checker with an extensive 172k word list (140k common words and 32k abbreviations/proper nouns). Smaller word lists of 78k and 14k (common words) and 17k and 300 (abbreviations/proper nouns) are also included. Unknown words can be added to a separate private word list." Again this is a free download and again from Mark Tamura.

Third pick from my favorite programs is MobileWrite and I think of this as a necessary program on my Treo 680 because it allows me to write on the screen in whatever Graffiti mode that I want and personally I choose the original Graffiti 1. A free trial is available to download to see whether you like this program or not.
