Opera Mini 3 Release Date (Palm Addicts exclusive!)

My favorite web browser on the desktop is, and has been for a long time, Opera.

Why? Because it’s fast and light. Many Firefox users have switched to Opera because they find it so much faster, and many of the features of the most popular Firefox extensions are either built into Opera or can be added to it.

I spend a lot of time with my Treo now, and have wanted a mobile version of Opera for it for a long time.

Along came Opera Mini, and while it isn’t a perfect solution, it is by far my favorite Palm browser.

The problems are that it can’t copy/paste from other apps and can’t be set as the default browser (it’s a Java app not a full Palm one).

However, the positives greatly outweigh the negatives.

What are those positives?

Well, how about speed speed speed speed and speed?

Opera is just diggity-dang fast. With my regular Sprint connection (not EvDO or anything like that) page loading is really fast. Going back to previous pages is also fast.
