Like Jennifer Chappell, I find that the good folks at Brando have a wealth of useful, fun...and sometimes just wacky goods for sale to Addicts of all kinds.
Recently, they sent me some non-Palm items to test out for the Christmas Addicts amongst our readers.
First up, two USB-powered CANNONS that are terrific fun for the computer-addict on your shopping list.
The USB Circus Cannon comes with 3 foam missile "babes", who you can direct at the included safety net. While it is getting ready to fire, the Cannon plays calliope-style circus music, and then a tremendous roar, as it fires the 'babe's at the net (or whatever you like to shoot foam missiles at).
The USB Missile Launcher comes with 3 foam missiles, and targets for you to aim at. It makes a plethora of whirring, clanking and other mechanical noises as you aim it at your designated target (included).
The real fun of these devices (aside from the insane lack of political correctness) is that they both come with targeting software that you load on your computer, and use to control aim/elevation, and to fire the missiles.
They work very well, are great silly fun, and at only $35(US) each, an inexpensive gift for the alpha male on your list (hint, hint).
