My Palm addiction

[From Hong] Hi Sammy, Started my Palm addition with a Palm IIIx when I was still in Hong Kong. After C, m500, I went to the dark side with a Toshiba. Well, I was very upset about the e330 and e335 and got the treo 600. Man, not until then I realized that I AM a Palm person.
I have upgraded to my Treo 650 since late last year. As so many users said, 'I feel naked without it!' Here is what I use it on a daily base.
- E-mail: I am a big fan of Chatter. Can't say enough good about it.
Paid for it after multiple trials. Beta-tested the OWA plugin (now is called EX) for quite a while. Now my treo can have my Gmail pushed (through an IMAP server) and Exchange mail pulled (directly, every 10 min). Worked as good as a BlackBerry.
- Contacts, Appointments, Meetings... They are so basic that seems root into my life, yet from time to time I realize that there is no other way I will be able to keep 10+ years worth of info with me all the time. Amazing!
- Dictionary. I am preparing a board exam and having a dictionary (actually, I have 5 on my treo) at hand is so useful. The keyboard on treo really makes a difference. Tried the same on a TX and man, I world rather use a real dictionary :)
- eBooks. I know I should not spent so many time on them, but it's really hard to stop. By the way, I read quite a few books in Chinese and Palm + CJKOS handles it very well. What a pain if you want to do the same with PPC. I have to manually convert half of the books into some kinds of farmat so MS Word can read.
- Games. Yes, I know, I should have none on my treo. But again, I am not strong. I ONLY have Billards, Freejongg, OKIGo, Rally, Sudoku. They are the keepers, for now.
- I also check weather, live traffic, google, wiki on my treo. using tomtom 5, watch some movies, Verichat and a lot more. Combine a good phone, a good PDA and EVDO, Treo really makes me feel connected all the time!
