Vega- new ultra-portable coming in Korea

"It is not a UMPC/ Origami device but this new ultra-portable due to appear soon in Korea competes directly with them and might even give the Sony UX a run, too. The Vega runs on the AMD Geode processor and looks roughly the same size as the Sony UX, if not a bit bigger. What I find most interesting about the Vega is the inclusion of a lot of buttons to make working the UI much easier. Take a look at this photo and you will see what I mean. Not a lot is known about the Vega yet but reports are that it might debut around the $700 mark. I knew when I predicted that 2006 was going to be the year of the handheld that we were going to see some really cool devices appear and I haven't been disappointed."

I drool each time I see a new handheld device! I think I'll keep my eye on the UMPCs which are larger yet portable. Like Mike Cane, I don't really care for the devices in which you have to magnify the screen. I'll continue to lust after the Samsung Q1 or something similar but a little cheaper.
