Can Linux save the Palm OS? is a great article and interview over on CNET. ACCESS recently showed their Mobile Operating System after acquring PalmSource. I know we've been waiting to see a major upgrade from the current verison of Palm OS we all use, and ALP is looking very good to us end users.
This is great news, you'll be able to basically to run any application that is running on your current Palm OS, Treo device. When this operating system becomes available you already have a library of great applications to use out of the box, but also know that developers will create new applications based on what the ALP operating system can do. Many Palm users choose Palm OS over Windows Mobile because of the applications, so this is great news. I highly recommend reading the interview.
