Brando PDA batteries are a bargain!

Shop Brando is one of my favorite places to find gadgets and accessories. Not just for my Treo, but for most handheld devices, and they also carry a lot of cool personal gadgets, as well.

Recently, they sent me their battery for the Treo 650/700 to test out, and I have found it to be a terrific bargain. The Palm original equipment version can be found for $30-$40, plus shipping. The Brando battery is $25, including shipping.

Of course, the test of any battery is how it compares to the original. In this case, I tested it against my Treo's original battery during a 2-week period, alternating batteries every 2 days. In each case, the Brando battery delivered the same kind of performance and battery life as the original.

I have to bring up one caveat, however: the Brando battery's 'wrapper' is minutely thicker then that of the Palm battery, and is not made of the same slick material. As such, it does not go in and out of the Treo's battery case as easily.
