In part 3 (the final episode), I want to give you an overview of the wonderful Bible tools that are a part of the MyBible 4 NIV Study Bible Bundle. The reference tools include a commentary (which was originally a 6-volume work --- want to carry that around?), a dictionary, a topical Bible. The DailyReader program comes with a number of reading plans, and some wonderful books for use with it as well --- the bundle includes three of my favorite/classics (described below). In today’s rush-around-busy-world, I think a devotion-on-the-go is perfect! Lastly, the Memorize program offers an easy/fun way to memorize verses. Here is an overview:

Three hundred years of preachers and scholars have come to Matthew Henry's Commentary (MHCC)for inspiration and edification. Matthew Henry expresses his insights into scripture with simplicity, clarity, and devotion. Laridian's edition of this classic reference work has been edited to retain the substance of the six-volume original work while still fitting comfortably onto your handheld device.

Easton's Bible Dictionary is a concise volume with approximately 4000 entries on words and topics important to the study of the Bible. The dictionary contains articles on major people and places of the Bible, plus articles related to the history, customs, and doctrines of Bible times. References to Bible verses and other articles within the dictionary are hyperlinked for easy navigation.

Nave's Topical Bible, despite its name, isn't really a Bible at all. Rather, it is a topical dictionary. Each article is related to a topic and contains lists of Bible references related to that topic. Therefore, it is used in the same manner as a Bible dictionary or encyclopedia. Nave’s contains an elaborate system of cross references. Wide scope is given each subject by connecting it with those to which it is related. Look up major themes, people, places or events of the Bible and you'll find a list of Bible references pertinent to the topic.

DailyReader simplifies the reading of "Daily Reading Books" such as devotionals and "through-the-Bible" reading schedules. It keeps track of what you've read and provides you with today's reading. DailyReader is a "modular" system. Once you have purchased and installed DailyReader and your first Daily Reading Book, you can add other books. Use the reading plans (included in the Laridian DailyReader program) to guide you through the entire Bible. Use the Scripture assignments to read through your printed Bible, or combine the Laridian Reading Plans with MyBible to read the verses directly in DailyReader on your Palm device.

My Utmost for His Highest (for DailyReader), by Oswald Chambers, is one of the most enduring best-sellers of our time. Noted for its rich, spiritual insights and life-changing perspectives, this classic has now been updated in today's language. It contains 366 daily readings encouraging you to follow Christ in every area of your life.
Morning and Evening (for DailyReader). Begin and end each day with this enduring classic by Charles H. Spurgeon. It gives you two devotional readings for every day of the year. Each entry includes an inspiring meditation on a selected portion of Scripture written by Spurgeon, the "Prince of Preachers."
Daily Light on the Daily Path (for DailyReader). In each reading, Daily Light presents a brief group of scripture passages which speak to prominent biblical themes. There are two readings for each day with differing themes for the morning and evening.

Memorize! can help you with your Scripture memorization -- it will even remind you each day to work on your Scripture memory. With Memorize! you can collect verses and passages to be memorized; create categories to help organize your verses; review verses by category and test yourself using the test feature. Plus, you can easily import verses from your MyBible Bible into Memorize!
The Navigator's Topical Memory System: Basic Edition is a collection of verses for use with Laridian Memorize! Use it to “hide” 60 key verses of Scripture that cover the basics of the Christian faith in your heart. Topics covered include obedience to Christ, the Word, prayer, fellowship, witnessing, assurance of salvation, living the Christian life, Christian virtues and more.
