Review: Big Box of Blocks

Big Box of Blocks is Astrawares newest game to hit Palm OS and Windows Mobile. I myself have been playing the game for about a week or so now on my Treo 650 and I am in love with it. The main object of Big Box of Blox is to arrange three-blox-high stacks as they fall by using the hardware keys or stylus and then smash them, blast them, mutate them or even explode them in a shower of flames by matching blox in groups of three or more vertically or horizontally to eliminate them.

The graphics live up to the Astraware standard of excellence, and so does the music/sound. I really like how the hardware keys are integrated into the game. Because of this, I am able to fully play the game without my stylus... which is a major plus since I am a Treo owner. The game play is addictive and I have yet been able to stop playing it whenever I get the chance to.

I personally feel this is the next best thing to Tetris. Astraware really did itself a good job with this one. I urge everyone to try out the demo version of Big Box of Blocks. I do not regret downloading it, and I bet you won't either.
