Extended Warranties
This is freaky, but I just posted on the forum this morning regarding my veiws on warranties, and extended warranties... and I just received an e-mail from Apple informing me that my 1 yr warranty was almost up and if I wanted to purchase the extended warranty for $59, I should "act fast". My thought on this is, if Apple sold me an iPod that is going to break down within the 1st couple of years, then they shouldn't be selling them without fixing the problems 1st. I told the tv manufacturers (is that even a word?) who made the tv I bought 16yrs ago the same thing when they pushed me to buy the extended warranty, and my tv is still working perfectly today. Maybe if the people who manufacture products sold in the US, and the World for that matter, paid a little more attention to their products, and less to making a huge profit, we wouldn't be living in a "throw away" society. Make a tv that works for 16 yrs and you've got a repeat customer in my eyes. Isn't one of the very 1st light bulbs ever produced still emitting light today? I need 10 or 15 of those for my house!!
I'm sorry.. I'll get off my soap box now. My Best to You All!
