From the Website:
In Bubble Ship Boy, you play the role of n-droo, a lovable alien from the planet Velition who unwittingly finds himself in an unarmed scout ship and on the trail of Deek Furple, a mischievous purple alien boy.
Bubble Ship Boy is an original Palm game with simple, 80's inspired arcade gameplay, full screen cut scene stills woven throughout, and modern graphics. Once the required playing skills have been attained, an entire action quest can be played to completion in about 6 minutes! It is designed for play on mobile devices, such as the PalmOne Treo 650 smartphone or Tungsten line of Palm PDAs.
Now let's get to the Review Part...
I got the opportunity to Review this new game, let me start describing my Game Pattern. Games I have in my Palm at this time: Solitaire, Sodoku, Giraffe and Monopoly. Again not a great Gamer, but I think that make the thing more interesting...
I install Bubble Ship Boy in the Palm and start Playing (Without reading the Manual). The game it is a Keeper, it is short, it is simple but at the same time it is complex. The game has 2 modes, A and B that basically define the amount of trouble you are going to have (Difficulty level if you wish)
After you pick your level now you can choose the level of resistance that you will have 5,3 or 1 hit. This part I love it because really makes it 3 games per level king of game... or 6 different games)
I do not want to get into detail of the game because I do not want to ruin the fun... But want to said some more info... My wife, who has less games than me, pick the game, since I was playing to do the review... Well she play 9 times in a row... Just that it is a great review... She things computer games are silly... 9 times in a row it is fantastic...
This game has only 4 levels, it is long enough, but short to make it possible to make it really fun...
Now I am going to read the Manual... In order to continue with my review... After read the Manual I can happily report that this is a great game! (Ok, in my modest opinion if you need to read the manual in order to play the game it is too complicated to play)
In conclusion this is a Keeper... in fact this is one of the Best Games I have seen from the Palm in many years (yes I know I do not have a lot of games, but I like this one.)
Even that I was lucky to get the Code in order to play it completely I start the game without it, so I can experience what a Demo User it is going to find... My experience was incredible, leave me with a flavor... with a I want more...
I honestly want to congratulate Little Big Mobile Entertainment for take the time to produce a game witch so high standards, the graphics are incredible, the sounds is captivating, and the bubble guy it is Fantastic! This game should cost more than $50 because it is simply incredible... so for $14.95 it is a no brainier... Take this guarantee... If you do not love this game... If you do not think this game it is exiting, fun and addictive... you did not try it... Sadly for me, my wife give it the game a better review than mine... She play with my Palm 9 times in a Row... Her record before was Solitaire in an airport with a 3 hours delay, 2 games...
Thanks for Reading... I am back to my Bubble Ship...
