Blue Nomad, LLC today announced the immediate availability of the Nomad Security Suite, a comprehensive data security package, for Palm Powered handhelds and smartphones. The security suite includes RemoveIt for Palm OS™, which allows users to identify programs taking up hidden space on their devices and provides an audit trail of files and preferences created by running programs, BackupBuddyVFS Professional™ which creates quick and secure device backups to external memory cards, and SwordFish for Palm OS which allows users to securely store personal information such as credit card numbers, bank account numbers, and passwords.
Blue Nomad has also made available the Nomad Security Suite Plus, which includes the above applications as well as BackupBuddy for Windows/Mac OS X. BackupBuddy uses a unique process for maintaining a complete history of any given device's files and settings so that users can restore individual files or their entire device to any previous point in time with the simple click of a button—a process called ZoomBackTM. BackupBuddy, when used with a Palm Powered device, provides a complete backup solution for both consumer and enterprise customers. BackupBuddy for Mac OS X contains all the features present in its Windows counterpart and works both with the Missing Sync from MarkSpace, as well as with the standard HotSync software as supplied by PalmOne.
