Tablet PC's to Be Deployed in Ford Pickups???

I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a scary thing, but according to Engadget, Ford is planning to include tablet PCs in some of their F series trucks. Now, you'd think the scary thing would be more accidents caused by the distractions of the device being in view of the driver (there are published reports showing higher "rear ending" type accidents for tow truck drivers and police officers that have similar devices in their vehicles). But to me, the really scary thing is having a Windows operating inside a Ford. The has been more than one observation that if Windows was held to the same laws as vehicles are, Microsoft would be bankrupt. So now we have the world's most insecure, unstable operating system in a Ford... a vehicle who's own name has spurred many acronyms. I'm just glad I drive a Dodge and my wife has a Chevy... and we both have Linux systems in our vehicles. :)
