Palm User - Peter Arts

1/ What Palm device are you using?
A: The Sprint Treo 650

2/ How did you first hear of the Palm PDA, and why did you decide to get one?
A: A client of mine...a helpdesk manager, had a Pilot and demonstrated it to me.
I was boggled by the idea of carrying all of my contact information, calendar and some useful apps in my shirt pocket. The idea of coexistence with my PC was nothing short of miraculous in my eyes. I HAD to have one, asap. The concept of 'just-in-time' information was so evident to me

3/Why do you use a Palm powered device?
A: Once upon a time, both the hardware and OS personified the idea of 'reliable, flexible and powerful.' Although there were a few years when the hardware was dreadful, the current Palm Inc. seems to be acting on those old ideals.
Bottom line: I get just the information I need, just when I need it

4/ Name one thing you did with your Palm device today
A: Only ONE?!?!
-Found a good restaurant for a friend staying in Chicago, using Vindigo. Sent him the information via Snappermail
-Read an eBook
-Checked the Notre Dame score (poor Navy, sniff, sniff...)
-Registered my kids for swim class at the YMCA
-Purchased some Christmas presents online
-Ordered take-out pizza
