Pocketpcthoughts is reporting that Textware, makers of Fitaly an alternative text input for Palm OS devices has just announced that they will no longer be developing Fitaly for any future Palm OS devices. Sounds like they are "trying" to stick it to Palm. Pocketpcthoughts says; "I am sure there are some that will not buy the new T/X because of this." I'll respond, I own a TX, and reported this past saturday that you can use Graffiti 1 on the TX . We have a few different options for text input on the "one helluva handheld" that the TX is. We've got Graffiti 2, Graffiti 1, Messagease, Tealscript, keyboard input, ir keyboards, BT keyboards, I am sure I missed a few. The point is that the lack of 1 app of many different input solutions does not mean the TX is doomed, in fact I would say it is one of Palm's finest handhelds to date, and will sell VERY well. I have not read one bad review on it, but I am a Palmyanna:) If you want a rock solid handheld that rivals all others in high end features, at a low price, with many, many input solutions check out the "one helluva handheld" from Palm, the TX.
