I was very shocked/pleasantly surprised to find out that Opera, one of the best browsers on earth has released a new browser for smartphone's. We now have a new browser from Opera, Opera Mini. I downloaded and installed it on my Treo 650, and have to say I am really liking what I see so far. Opera is my favorite desktop browser because the creators know how to really optimize it for the platform it is running on. From Windows to Mac, Symbian to Windows Mobile, we now finally have it for the Palm OS. It seems pretty fast, stable, and supports the 5 way navigator. I have received numerous emails of people having great success with Opera Mini on other Palm devices as well, one email showed me a Tungsten T3 running it in 320 x 320, as well as Hi-res+ mode. Anyone with a Treo, and since revising my original article, having seen it running on other Palm OS devices, should definitely check out this great alternative browser. Great job Opera!!!! ***Update, just received another email, Opera Mini is working great on the Lifedrive.
