TipTop IS Groovy
Okay so I’ll ‘fess up’ to the fact that I was a young teen in the early 70s, and "groovy" was a part of my every day language. (Side note – don’t you just love some of the new slang? How about “bling?” I giggle whenever I say it.) I don’t often hear the word groovy used anymore, but I’ll have agree with the folks from Astraware who say that TipTop has “Groovy fifties fruit-machine style graphics.” (although I don’t think they said "groovy" in the fifties like we did in the 70s.) Anyway…
I’m a big fan of Astraware’s games, and as such have been trying out quite a few lately. I have been going WILD playing this game called TipTop. It looks like a slot machine, but acts like a puzzle game. I haven’t even made it out of Regular Mode yet to try the Strategy and Speed Modes – and for at least the moment all my other games are getting a rest while I obsess over TipTop. (-:
“It's hip, daddy-o! Play…the groovy web game by PopCap, with plenty of Fifties style and Vegas pizzazz…Match and clear all the slot symbols, use magnets, bombs and other special blocks to score crazy combos, but don't break the bank!”
Here’s what I like best…
- The choice between stylus / key control
- An Interactive tutorial to start you off (how cool is that!)
- Built-in instructions and tips.
- Fast-paced fruit-matching action!
Other features include…
- Three game modes: Regular, Strategy and Speed provide for every taste in puzzle games!
- Unlimited levels in each mode and 19 bonus puzzle levels
- Enhanced sampled sounds for appropriate Sony and Palm OS5 devices!
- Support graphics for Hi-res & Low-res color, and low-res greyscale
Cost: $17.95 – or buy it with the Gold Sticker 2 for $30 promotion (running now through the end of February) – which includes 20 of Astraware’s best loved games – check it out!
